East Yorkshire MP Greg Knight has criticised proposals to close the Minor Injuries Unit at Driffield Hospital after it was revealed that it is being earmarked for closure by the East Riding Clinical Commissioning Group.
Greg says: “The East Riding is an area with a fast-growing population. I believe that the correct policy is that Driffield should retain its Minor Injuries Unit.
“Residents can have their say to save these local health services. The consultation process is expected to begin on 25th October and run for 12 weeks. I hope East Riding residents will therefore make their voices heard over the coming months.
